Starlinger will present the break-resistant AD*STAR cement sacks made of polypropylene fabric at this year’s Chinaplas in Guangzhou, China (20 – 23 May 2015). The company can be found in Hall 9.2, Stand C41.

Trouble-free filling on the newest automatic cement filling lines and minimum breakage rates during transport and storage: the precisely manufactured and robust AD*STAR sacks make filling and transporting cement even more efficient – very much in line with the ongoing modernisation of China’s cement sector, which aims at increasing overall production efficiency.

Starlinger AD*STAR block bottom valve sacks are made of coated polypropylene tape fabric and offer cement producers optimum protection for their product – all the way from the cement plant to the end user. AD*STAR sacks can be used on all modern cement filling plants and are easily stacked and palletized, leading to space and time savings. Due to their tightness and resistance to breaking, they avoid environmental pollution caused by spilled cement and help to reduce costs and CO2 emissions generated by replacement production.

AD*STAR block bottom valve sacks are produced on Starlinger’s ad*starKON conversion lines using a special welding technique. Due to reduced raw material consumption during production they are an economic, high-quality alternative to sewn sacks and paper sacks.

An ad*starKON valve bottomer is now permanently on show at the Starlinger factory in Taicang, Jiangsu Province, China. It can be seen in operation anytime by appointment and is available for trial runs with customer materials.

The circular looms of the RX series are Starlinger’s most sold looms in Asia. While the RX 6.0 loom produces lightweight fabric for bulk packaging at a machine speed of 1100 picks per minute, the RX 8.0 loom model is designed for heavy-duty fabrics used, e.g., in FIBC production. The RX looms have minimum spare part requirements, operate with high production efficiency and produce high-quality fabric at a competitive price. Both models are available for demonstrations and test runs at the Starlinger factory in Taicang.

Note: AD*STAR® is a registered trademark of Starlinger & Co. Ges.m.b.H. AD*STAR® sacks are produced exclusively on Starlinger machinery.
